SMTC Global group's first safety training facility was established in Malaysia in 1988 with the primary objective to provide competence based safety training to the oil & gas industry in Asia.

We have since expanded our reach to the global oil & gas industry markets in Americas, Europe, Africa and Australasia.

Our country offices are now located in Belgium, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Iran, Ghana, Sudan, China, Singapore, Indonesia, India, Brunei, Korea and Malaysia.

On an annual average, we train over 35,000 delegates and deliver over 1,000 trainer days at global locations including at offshore/onshore locations in Japan, Mongolia, China, South Korea, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei, Philippines, Australia, India, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Sudan, Egypt, Gabon, Angola, Congo, Ghana, Cameroon, Nigeria, South Africa, Holland, Spain, Norway, Denmark, UK, Russia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Belgium, USA, Canada, Trinidad and Venezuela.

Our training facilities are fully equipped with comprehensive training equipment to simulate as close as possible the actual working environment under controlled condition. The simulated realistic environment is ideal for competence based training and assessment.

Our learning and assessment team are industry practitioners who have years of experience in their respective fields and are competent course leaders/assessors.
